Sarah P. Duke Gardens

The Sarah P. Duke Gardens have been called the “jewel in the crown” of Duke University, in Durham, North Carolina.  I urge you to take a leisurely stroll through the gardens at any time of year.

The wisteria on top of the pergola is only in bloom for about one week each year, and I was lucky to be there at the right time.

This is one of four paintings commissioned by the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.  The original painting is on display at the Inn.

This painting has 53 tiny hearts (Yes, I did count them when I was done).

Medium: Limited edition lithograph

Dimensions: 17″ x 25″
