San Francisco Victorians
This painting of San Francisco Victorians depicts the famous row of “Painted Ladies” in Alamo Square. The fantastic architectural details, combined with light and shadow, provide a dramatic 3-D effect that has always intrigued me.
I started with a one color serigraph (silkscreen print) to provide the line drawing, then painted two coats of gouache (opaque water color). If you like to “stay between the lines”, then this painting is for you!
This archival print uses pigmented inks – the colors will remain vibrant for 100 years.
Signed framed prints are available in two sizes: 8” x 10”, and 16” x 20.” Signed unframed prints are also available.
