Dance at Spoleto 1983

In 1983, while living in Rock Hill, SC, I entered a statewide contest for the Dance at Spoleto Festival poster. My painting was chosen out of 120 entries.

I was pleased with the combination of the straight lines of the painted stripes and the curves and movements of the dancers.

Hard to believe sometimes that this painting is 39 years old!
