Dog Dip Afternoon
$150.00
Do you remember Dog Day Afternoon — the movie starring Al Pacino? The name of this painting is a play on the title of the movie.
The banner proclaiming “Free Dog Dip Every Saturday” caught my eye when I saw this scene featuring the Acme Farm Supply building in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, in 1992. Painting a precise checkerboard with two coats of gouache is a labor intensive and challenging process.
