The\u00a0Sarah P. Duke Gardens\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>have been called the “jewel in the crown” of Duke University, in Durham, North Carolina.\u00a0 I urge you to take a leisurely stroll through the gardens at any time of year.<\/p>\n

The wisteria on top of the pergola is only in bloom for about one week each year, and I was lucky to be there at the right time.<\/p>\n

This is one of four paintings commissioned by the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.\u00a0 The original painting is on display at the Inn.<\/p>\n

This painting has 53 tiny hearts (Yes, I did count them when I was done).<\/p>\n
